Imagine you are sat in the pub chatting about holiday plans. You are wondering whether or not to go to a place and a guy on the next tables says ‘I’ve been there’.

I’m that guy.

On this website are some of the places I’ve been to and what I thought of them. I don’t often review specific hotels in great detail, though I usually explain the basics on our accommodation. I’m mainly advising on destinations and telling stories about my trips. I often highlight attractions, beaches, bars and restaurants that are worthy of a thumbs up. I tend not to hand out stinking reviews on any businesses as it’s unfair given I’ve likely only visited once. TripAdvisor is the place for that.
